Choreography for two jugglers and six hanging lamps with live music composed by Bruno Pernadas and conceived for all kinds of audiences with the help of Giacomo Scalisi and Madalena Vitorino, “Ferloscardo II” happened to be one of the first new circus productions made in Portugal. As theater critic João Carneiro wrote in the weekly newspaper Expresso, “Ferloscardo II is an act of balancing light, not something about the perception of the real under the prism of light, nor about objects’ existence in relation to the luminous space. It is only about playing with things that always seem fascinating, but which never acquire the status of spectacle. (…) It is an economy of detail, a reversal of waste, the contrary to the wealthy life of the new rich”.
