Languaging
This workshop proposes a collective practice that explores different conceptions of language and speech through the interaction between linguistic systems—related to writing, phonetics, and gesture—and choreographic technologies. Starting from the idea of an opera aria, we work with the possibility of dissecting language into sound and the body into gesture.
