This workshop focus around questions of how writing produces dancing and how dancing produces choreography. Taking writing as intrinsic to language, we will be exploring various modes of expression related to signs, written language, and oral language. We will seek ways to make these modes collide within the body so they can generate another bodily language — one that questions the boundaries between being and doing, inside and outside, subject and object. This workshop offers a sensory and poetic exploration of the body, where movement, language, voice, and time intertwine and disarticulate, understanding the body as a multifaceted channel.
