He began studying Dance at ESD (Lisbon) and at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, and earned a master\u2019s degree in Choreographic Studies between e.x.er.c.e\/Paul Val\u00e8ry II in Montpellier and the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen. Since 2008, he has danced in works by Eszter Salamon, Moriah Evans, Xavier Le Roy, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bel, Boris Charmatz, Marcelo Evelin, Dora Garcia, Manuel Pelmu\u0219, Rui Horta, Ana Rita Teodoro, among others.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"1172\">His practice articulates collaborative modes of working that focus on questions of transmission, repertoire, language, writing, and labor. He has created pieces such as <em data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"842\">Projecto Continuado<\/em> (2015), <em data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"862\">Companhia<\/em> (2018), and <em data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"888\">Cooperativa<\/em>(2025), with Ana Rita Teodoro, Clarissa Sacchelli, Daniel Pizamiglio, Filipe Pereira, and Sabine Macher; <em data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1015\">Onde Est\u00e1 o Casaco?<\/em> (2018) with Cyriaque Villemaux and Ana Jotta; <em data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1076\">Antropocenas<\/em> (2017) with Rit\u00f3 Nat\u00e1lio; and <em data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1119\">Est\u00e1 Visto<\/em> (2023) with Ana Jotta, Joana S\u00e1, and Filipe Pereira.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1595\">His interest in the genealogies of dance history led him to create, together with Ana Bigotte Vieira, a device for the collective mapping of dance in Portugal \u2014 <em data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1362\">Para Uma Timeline a Haver<\/em> \u2014 and to found a biannual journal \u2014 <em data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1407\">Coreia<\/em> \u2014 dedicated to writings by and about artists. He occasionally writes and curates, with notable projects including <em data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1540\">Nova\u2014Velha Dan\u00e7a<\/em> (Santar\u00e9m, 2017) and <em data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1574\">p de dan\u00e7a<\/em> (FCG, Lisbon, 2021).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"2170\">He received the ESD-IPL merit scholarship in 2008\/09 and was a grantee of the danceWeb program (2010), CNC (2010), ENPARTS (2010\/11), FCG (2011\u201313), and the Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia (2022). He has been an associate artist at Espa\u00e7o do Tempo, Circular Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural, Est\u00fadios Victor Cordon, and Materiais Diversos. His piece <em data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"1954\">Projecto Continuado<\/em> (2015) received the SPA Authors Award in 2016.
