{"id":3247,"date":"2023-09-17T13:12:53","date_gmt":"2023-09-17T13:12:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/parasita.eu\/?post_type=cpt_joao_martins&#038;p=3247"},"modified":"2025-06-16T12:06:01","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T12:06:01","slug":"o-trabalho-coreografico-como-lugar-de-revisitacao-da-historia","status":"publish","type":"cpt_joao_martins","link":"https:\/\/parasita.eu\/en\/joao-dos-santos-martins\/o-trabalho-coreografico-como-lugar-de-revisitacao-da-historia\/","title":{"rendered":"Choreographic Work as a Site for Revisiting History, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"67\" data-end=\"191\"><strong data-start=\"67\" data-end=\"145\">ORDINARY ASSEMBLY #4 \u2013 Choreographic Work as a Site for Revisiting History<\/strong><br data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"148\" \/>With Jo\u00e3o dos Santos Martins and Ana Dinger<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"193\" data-end=\"1016\">This conversation will attempt to inhabit a space of remembrance and engagement with the history\u2014or histories\u2014of dance, taking as both starting point and path the choreographic work of Jo\u00e3o dos Santos Martins. <em data-start=\"403\" data-end=\"426\">Le Sacre du Printemps<\/em>(2013), created in collaboration with Min Kyoung Lee, revisits various versions of <em data-start=\"510\" data-end=\"530\">The Rite of Spring<\/em> that use Stravinsky\u2019s composition and\/or are haunted\u2014either manifestly or latently\u2014by Nijinsky\u2019s choreography. <em data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"663\">Projecto Continuado<\/em> (2015), <em data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"688\">Autointitulado<\/em> (2015), and <em data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"713\">Reencontro<\/em> (2016) are other examples that act as gestures which summon ghosts, shadows, and (re)appearances.
